Here is the thing, I have known about an anti-inflammatory diet & what foods are good for the body but I had never linked autoimmune disease with an anti-inflammatory diet.

 

I was also unaware of how wrong the conventional anti-inflammatory was. I was also doing things that were counteracting all my good efforts & making my symptoms worse. It was feeding an underlying problem I wasn’t aware of & it was causing havoc in my body. After many trials & errors & searching to find an answer I eventually did!

When you don’t know what is wrong with you & all blood tests & medical scans come back clear, you can feel hopeless & overwhelmed (& in some cases feel like you might be going a little crazy…. “Is this all in my head?” I would often wonder).

It helps when you know WHAT to do, WHY you must do it & WHEN to do it. It can get get very confusing & overwhelming when there are a million different messages been thrown at you as to WHAT you should be doing.

 

That is why I just want to make it very clear that the method I have used to heal & transform my body from autoimmune disease & EBV,

Here is a quick little history about me. I am a Nutritionist & specialize in plant based health Nutrition programs. I have been a vegan for almost 5 years now & integrate mental & spiritual well-being with that of the physical well-being.
 

My body has been through many trials & challenges & I have put my body through many “battle fields”. I have bullied & punished it to try make it look a certain way. I have starved it & I have abused it & I have restricted & punished it with food & exercise. It has taken it’s toll & I believe contributed to developing autoimmune disease.

However, all these challenges have led me to where I am today & I continue to learn & grow so that I can help change other peoples lives who may be going through what I have.

Back in the day, I tried & tested so many fad diets, all in the hopes to change my body, but sadly I didn’t realize the impact it would have on my body.

I have seen so many women fight through the same destructive cycle. Trying so hard to get somewhere but ending up doing more harm that good!

I have worked with 1000’s of women, watching & studying their lifestyle, behaviour & choices when it comes to food.

There is a common thread that has run through all these women & one that binds them to  a constant struggle, discomfort & barrier when it comes to their body.

Whether it is as simple as struggling with daily fatigue & indigestion…..or constant bloating & stubborn weight gain……..to something as concerning as degenerating bone density & unstable hormones….there is a common element that runs through all these illnesses & physical ailments…..and that is inflammation.

 

Inflammation in the body can happen within each & every cell & when it does, it prevents our bodies from functioning & looking their optimal best!

 

Inflammation is the big bright red warning light that one would normally see in a car when something is wrong. Our bodies have the same warning light & that warning is inflammation.

Inflammation can come in many forms.

The more I read, the more it began to all make sense, WHAT was happening to my body & WHY.

Slowly I was able to compile a plan that worked for me, because all the information out there can be very overwhelming & often I found myself not wanting to start at all. I didn’t know which step I should start with first.

 

From my years of working with different women’s struggles within their bodies & doing the research to try find an answer to my own struggles, there was 1 common answer that kept popping up …….

an Anti-inflammatory diet.

 

But it is NOT the conventional anti-inflammatory diet that still gets sold out there. Many people are very misunderstood about anti-inflammatory foods.

Our food choices & how they are being processed have changed so drastically over the past couple of years, that is why many are still getting it wrong…..& that is how I was getting it wrong as well!!!!

But as life evolved so did pathogens and that is WHY we are only beginning to experience these strange illnesses & diseases now.

 

Inflammatory foods are often very acidic & when consumed in excess makes the body acidic, which is a PERFECT breeding ground for modern lifestyle pathogens.

Inflammatory foods are also the perfect food to feeds theses dangerous & destructive pathogens in the body & it’s HERE where inflammation is caused.

 

SO to clear a confusing fact up……the foods that are labelled “inflammatory” foods, are not the actual cause of the inflammation. E.g. Dairy can cause severe problems for some but it’s not the dairy causing the inflammation…..its the pathogen feeding OFF of the dairy that is causing the inflammation.

 

There is good and bad news…..

The good news is that no matter how bad your symtoms are or no matter how long you have been struggling, you have the power to start healing your body TODAY by choosing an anti-inflammatory diet & lifestyle.
